Cookies and preferences
A lightweight site with optional video content under your control.

1. Before you permit optional content
The site's own pages do not install analytics or advertising cookies. Photos, fonts and the interactive route map are hosted with the site. No Google Maps, Google Analytics, advertising pixel or externally loaded font is installed in this version. GitHub Pages still receives technical connection information to deliver and protect the site; this is different from an advertising cookie.
2. Functional browser storage
oeg-language stores your explicitly chosen language in localStorage until you clear it. oeg-privacy-choice-v1 stores your allow/decline video choice, document version, browser-reported time and a random record identifier for up to 180 days. These local values support your requested preference and are not advertising identifiers. The enquiry form itself is not saved to browser storage. You can delete site storage in your browser, which will reset the saved choices.
3. Optional YouTube videos
No YouTube iframe is created before permission. Pressing play opens a short permission prompt unless you have already allowed videos. You may permit videos or keep essential functions only, with equal access to both choices. If allowed, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com in privacy-enhanced mode. Google may nevertheless process connection and viewing data and use cookies or other storage during playback. Exact names and lifetimes depend on Google and your browser; we do not claim this mode prevents all tracking. Videos are optional and the rest of the site remains available if declined.
4. Change or withdraw your choice
Use Preferences in the footer to change your selection. Declining stops currently embedded YouTube videos and blocks new ones. It cannot erase cookies already set on a third-party domain; use browser controls for those. Closing the prompt without choosing does not authorize video loading. No optional content is enabled merely by scrolling or continuing to browse.
5. Forms and external destinations
FormSubmit and its anti-spam services may process data and use their own storage when you send a form. Those services are not loaded as an iframe or tracking script on page entry. WhatsApp, LinkedIn and Calendly may use cookies on their sites after you follow a link. Their practices are governed by their policies and your browser settings. The website does not add an advertising category to these external links.
6. Questions and changes
Contact info@orinocoenergygroup.com for questions. A new video-consent version or expiry will require a new choice before optional videos load. The Privacy policy explains enquiry handling and individual requests. See the provider policies linked below for technical information.
